Multi end rovings for chopping applications
359AA General purpose spray up roving made from Advantex (TM) glass fibre for anti corrosion, marine construction and transportation markets.
Available in: CTC, Bulk and Creel packaging.
495EP Designed for panel and SMC processes.

Single end rovings
Fibres are drawn directly from the furnace and are wound into the roving package to form a single end, catenary free roving. Suitable for pultrusion, filament winding and knitting/weaving processes. Compatible with Polyester, Vinyl Ester and Epoxy Resin systems.
Available in: 600, 2400 and 4800 tex. |
Woven Roving & Uni Directional Rovings

A bi-directional plain weave fabric compatible with most Polyester, Vinyl Ester and Epoxy Resin systems.
Available in densities of: 350, 600 and 800g/m²
(600 and 800g/m² are available with powder mat backing and non standard widths).
A uni-directional fabric compatible with most Polyester, Vinyl Ester and Epoxy Resin systems.
Available in a density of: 800g/m²
(Non standard widths and a powder mat backing is also available). |
Knitted Fabrics

These fabrics are constructed with a stitch bonding process, with assembles unidirectional rovings in multi axial layers being predominantly 0º, 90º +/- 45º.
These fabrics are compatible with the major resin systems and are used in hand lay-up, infusion, RTM and pultrusion processes.
Biaxial
A unidirectional wrap (0) and a unidirectional weft (90).
Double Biased
Comdines layers of 45º unidirectional into a single fabric
Triaxial
Combines layers of unidirectional + and - 45 fabric with either a weft (90) or a wrap (0) unidirectional layer into a single fabric.
Quadraxail
This four layered fabric combines a +/- 45 and a 0/90 into one fabric.
Knitted Fabrics are available in densities of: 400 to 1150g/m² and some products have a 300g/m² mat backing.
